Sand River Ranch


      First off, I'd better tell you that, to the best of my knowledge, the Sand River Ranch exists only as a figment of my imagination.  OK, you knew that. If it was a real place, where could you find it?  The story is set in Southern Matabeleland, Zimbabwe,  and I'd place it somewhere south of West Nicholson,  and north of Beit Bridge.  I've marked its approximate location on the map for you.
